Congratulations on being invited as an AAS Honorary Member. The title of 'Honorary Member" is conferred by unanimous approval of active members of the squadron. Former members of AAS who are disenrolled from AFROTC or USAFA under honorable circumstances are eligible for honorary membership but must have a significant strategic impact on the squadron. Once dues are paid through the AAS-SW website, an Honorary membership certificate with official seal may be ordered by the Squadron for presentation to the Honorary Member.

Arnold Air Society (AAS) is a professional, honorary, college student-led service organization, whose mission is to develop strong USAF officers and aerospace power advocates.  The “service” aspect is perhaps foremost in the mind of many members, because of the Society’s continuing contributions to our campuses, communities, and Corps.  AAS partners closely with Silver Wings (SW), primarily a civilian student membership, equally interested in leadership development, airpower advocacy, foreign policy, and national defense issues.

It is the highest tribute extended by the SW Chapter to a person who is not eligible for active membership. Once dues are paid through the AAS-SW website, an Honorary membership certificate with official seal may be ordered by the Chapter for presentation to the Honorary Member.
